The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Streetwise Promotions, Mr. Michael Amoo-Bediako Snr is set to meet the leadership of the Ghana Boxing Authority(GBA) to discuss fresh reforms regarding the sports.
These follows a meeting he had with Honcho John Sheppard, manager of boxing’s leading statistical website BoxRec.
Mr. Amoo-Bediako revealed his current latest in a Social Media post with a picture of him and Mr. Sheppard.
“I bumped into boxrec head Honcho John Sheppard,” He wrote.
“We had an interesting discussion regarding boxing in Ghana and I look forward to implementing some ideas with the Ghana Boxing Authority.
“Starting by meeting the Vice President Roger Barnor in n London in the near future,” Mr. Amoo-Bediako added.
There stand-off between boxrec and GBA meant records of Ghanaian boxers were not updated on the the statistical website for boxing.
Mr. Michael Amoo-Bediako Snr has been a major stakeholder in the sports of boxing in Ghana with his Streetwise Promotions being one of the topmost boxing promoters in Ghana.
He is also the manager of former IBF lightweight world champion Richard Commey.
