United Boxing Coaches Association of Ghana Elections Set For Tomorrow

Members of the United Boxing Coaches Association goes to the poll on February 15th, 2024 to elect leaders that will lead the Association from it’s current state as it stands to a more reliable and firm one.

 

Head trainer of the Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation Mr. Charles Quartey who is vying for the Presidential position says he is ready to bring on board big foreign partners who are willing to send coaches outside the shores of Ghana to train them to another level in their career.

 

Secondly, he wants to contest for president so he can strengthen the Coaches Association with his zeal and also render timely solutions to rising issues among coaches before it escalates.

 

Also, a renowed coach and current General Secretary of the Coaches Association, Mr. Rashid Williams who is now vying for Presidential says if he is given the nod, he will make sure he sets up an office for the Association so that day to day affairs will be run smoothly.

 

Secondly, he also wants to bring other good deals on board to help the Coaches as well as enhance unity among all Coaches because its the Coaches who form Boxing and without them there will be no Boxing.

 

Other members who are contesting for various positions are as follows.

 

Mr Lawrence Carl Lokko as first Vice President.

Mr. Michael Benjamin Addy as second vice president.

Mr. Ernest Ofori as General Secretary.

Mr. Augustus Dodoo and Mr. Gabriel Allotey as Executive members.
