Oleksandr Usyk ready for a rematch with Anthony Joshua

Last Saturday night in North London, precisely at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium witnessed an exciting bout where former WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faced the wrath of the Ukrainian and former Undisputed Cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Before the bout, all odds were against the Ukrainian southpaw who had told boxing fans to watch out for him on the night. After having overcome the 240 pounds giant to become a two-division world champion, Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13KOs) looks ready to face Anthony for a rematch if Joshua activates the rematch clause

“I would love to have the rematch in the Olympiyskiy Stadium in Kiev.”

On who he’ll like to face next between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, he said

“I really love challenges, but as long we have the rematch clause in our contract, Anthony Joshua is our next opponent no matter who wins or calls me out.”

“He is a true warrior,” Usyk said. “He’s a fighter. He’ll improve his skills. I can’t really say whether he will [force the rematch], but I think he probably will.”
