Undefeated Ghanaian – Brit Joshua Buatsi (14-0, 12KOs)  is back again to rumble with the WBO European Light Heavy titlist Ricards Bolotniks at the Matchroom HQ Garden, Brentwood, Essex, United Kingdom this Saturday, August 14.

At stake will be Buatsi’s WBA International Light heavy title which he won in June 2019 after he brutally KOd Marco Antonio Periban in the fourth round.

The power puncher Buatsi looks fierce and unlikely to be stopped as he’s recorded five (5) KOs in either the first or second round out of his twelve (12) KO wins in his unbeaten pro career.

This will seem like a mission impossible for his Latvian opponent Ricards ‘The Lion’ Bolotniks who has won his last five bouts winning the WBO European strap in the process and successfully defending it twice. But the sweet science always has a way of surprising its followers where just one punch can cause a huge upset.

With all odds against the Latvian come fight night, Joshua must prove once again this Saturday why he deserves a world title shot as he faces the 31 year old Latvian.

The event will also feature other interesting fights on the night among which Raymond Ford will face Reece Bellotti for the vacant WBA Continental Feather Title.

Ukashir Farooq faces Luis Gerardo Castillo with the WBC international bantam strap at stake. Michael McKinson (15-0) will make his first defense for his WBO Global Welter title against Przemyslaw Runowski (19-1).

The event headlined by Buatsi vs Bolotniks is promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and will be aired on DAZN.
