BOXING ADMINISTRATORS WAX LYRICAL OVER NEW GBA PRESIDENTS NHIS INITIATIVE

Mr. Abraham Kotei Neequaye, the new GBA president in his new office has promised to ensure the safety and fitness of all boxing stakeholders especially, boxing coaches and pro boxers as they got registered onto the National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS) to curb the issue of not having physical money when sent to the hospital on emergency.

 

After overseeing a major outcome during the registration process which took place at the Will Power Gym on the 11th of August 2021, many boxing administrators and stakeholders have lauded the initiative of the GBA president.

Boxing coaches and boxers expressed delight after being registered onto the scheme and lavished praises on the president for thinking about the welfare of boxers as their field of sports is very difficult and required such initiatives from the beginning.

 

Mr. Neequaye, the GBA president who has said this initiative is the first of the many to come expressed joy after realizing the involvement of stakeholders and their willingness to enrol.

“This is one of the many to come, I will make boxing attractive again and ensure we get to the top like Ghana has always done.” said the president.

 

Coaches of various gyms including Will Power Gym encouraged the action president to continue with his good works as he has started to make boxing extra great again in Ghana.
