ACISA PRESIDENT LANDS IN ETHIOPIA AHEAD OF BOXING FOR PEACE TOURNAMENT IN AFRICA

SOLOMON BEREH, the Canadian based Ethiopian and the President of African Canadian International Sports Association (ACISA) has landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on June 17, 2023 to spearhead preparations for the Boxing for Peace Tournament in AFRICA.

 

Te tournament slated for August 12, 2023 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia aims to celebrate the signing of the peace accord reached between the government of Ethiopia, Tiggray region and promote peace in the continent of Africa which is engulfed in both factional and war of attrition also.

 

Several prominent personalities have been nominated as Ambassadors for Peace which includes former IBF Heavyweight Champion Francois “White Buffalo” Botha from South Africa and undisputed unified WABA/WBF/WPBF Middleweight Champion Ambassador Charles Manyuchi from Zimbabwe.

 

Others are the Executive Director of the private owned African Airways, Captain Abera Lami of Ethiopia, Aschalew Nylemarym, Sarah Tefese and many other Community, national, business and international personalities.

 

Boxing for Peace Tournament in Africa will be held each year in different countries and already the British Semiprofessional Boxing Council (BSBC) headed by Ken Coughlin has expressed primary interests to host next year’s event in the United Kingdom (UK).
