Joseph Afful, Joseph Tetteh, Mustapha Wahab and Daniel Quartey are final year students of Accra Sempe JHS and Members of the Bronx Boxing Gym and would sit for the BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (BECE) which begins next week Monday.
Head Trainer Carl Lokko stressed on the fact that he frowns on boxers abandoning education once they take to boxing. He therefore found every means to encourage all his wards to stay in school alongside the pugilistic mentorship.
The students head straight to the gym each day after school for rigorous training and return home in the evening.
Coach Carl Lokko wished the boxers and students immense success in their impending examinations.
