SP Sports Promotion takes boxing to Koforidua on March 7, 2026
SP Sport Promotion in collaboration with T2 Bar and Grill are coming out with a bill dubbed ‘Bout of 1957 Boxing Night’ in Koforidua at Total 2 on March 7, 2026.
According to Mr. Samuel Darkwa Agyei of SP Sports, the people of Koforidua in the Eastern Region are yearning to witness a live boxing show and they are marking the times for the date.
Featuring on the bill are very tough and crack boxers like George Faho Mensah (11-1-0) who is on the main bout of the night.
Mensah who was supposed to fight in Europe but the bout could not come on has not relented in his training.
He has rather intensified and hopes to give his fans something good to cheer about.
He is one of the boxers in Ghana who has been tipped for the glory of winning a continental title and he knows he has a mission to accomplish.
Mr. Samuel Darkwa hinted that the fight in the Eastern Region is the beginning of great professional and amateur boxing bouts coming up to boost sports and entertainment in the region.
He said talented boxers in the region would also be scouted and given opportunities.
