Wisdom Boxing Promotions, in collaboration with Pillar Dynamics last Saturday, 13th April, held a successful Salafest Boxing Event at Decathlon, Kawukudi, Accra.

Among the most anticipated fights was between Ghana’s Nana Adjei Clinton versus Togolese boxer Fioklu Dogbevi. Prior to their exciting encounter, Dogbevi vowed to stop Clinton in the 2nd round.

Clinton, in an exclusive interview with Boxinghana.com on weigh-in day disclosed his intention to stop Dogbevi in the 1st round.

The fight, however, travelled to the 6th round where Fioklu Dogbevi refused to continue, handing Clinton 6th round knockout win.

Clinton, after the fight, admitted that his opponent was tough

“The fight was amazing, but due to the toughness of my opponent, he almost got down in the beginning rounds but didn’t give up, which I respect him for that”.

“For now, my expectation is to keep going with my training and be able to have a world title for my country. That is my goal for now, so I have to train hard to achieve my goals.”
