Mohammed Aryeetey defeats Johnny Paredes in second win of the year
Mohammed ‘Golden Boy’ Aryeetey defeated Johnny Paredes by unanimous decision during an event held in Maryland, USA.
The judges’ scorecards read 59-55, 60-54, 60-55. His opponent, Paredes, came in the bout as an undefeated boxer with two wins under his belt.
Aryeetey has now won his second fight of 2026, after a unanimous decision win over Anthony Jackson in June. The 23-year-old boxer has also become somewhat of a staple on events promoted by Davis Boxing Promotions and is having success with the competition presented to him.
With his record now at 12-1-1 with 8 knockouts, the one-time national super flyweight champion seems to be strategically building his career in the USA and will in no time be ready for higher ranked competition in the future.
