The Bukom Boxing Arena was the venue of exhilarating amateur boxing action last Saturday when the Black Bombers proved to be good when they faced the Metro Detroit Golden Gloves.
Mathias Ashitey edged Cayden Youser of Detroit Golden gloves with a 3-0 win to put Ghana on a victory route.
He was followed by Amadu Mohammed who defeated short Tyler Luce 3-0 in an exciting match.

Ebenezer Ankrah also got a dominant 3-0 victory over Christian Curry, while Francis Quartey won over Payden Jones by a 2-1 decision.
The Fist of Fury show saw Abdul Wahid Omar winning against Glanni Figueroa by 3-0.
The Americans fought back strongly to win the remaining four bouts as Christian Geck got their first win of the night with a 3-0 victory over Philip Quansah.

Solomon Sackey came to defeats Mustapha Alfartousi by 3-0 in another good bout.
Desmond Harris got the second win for Detroit Golden Gloves against Abdul Khalid by a 2-1 victory.
Lamar Stewart III defeated Joseph Frimpong by a 2-1 decision to give Detroit Golden Gloves their third win.
Juvenile boxers Prince The Buzz Larbie and Ransford Lamptey thrilled patrons with an exhibition bout.
In the last bout of the night, tall well built Darius Parlor won over Jibril Muntari by a 3-0 decision giving Detroit Golden Gloves four wins against the black Bombers of Ghana with six victories.

He was adjudged the best boxer of the night and took home a trophy.
It was a interesting experience which attracted a few dignitaries like the Dr. Kofi Mawuli Wuako Administrator of the Ghana Sports Fund, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee Richard Akpokavie and Chef du Mission for the 2026 Commonwealth Games Ernest Danso.
Some envoys from Germany and Norway showed up as well as amateur boxing funs.
Also present was former Presidential Aide Lord Commey and MC Mercury Quaye who thrilled guest with entertainment..

Nii Adama Addy, Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation said the programme was fruitful and they look forward for the return encounter as Ghana builds the new Bombers for LA 2028.
Leader of the Detroit team, Katealia Chambers expressed that they leant a lot and thank everyone who contributed to the success.
