Aps. Dr. Ampofo-Dollar, Lead consultant of Acadia Limited, producers of Tampico in Ghana has commended all the runners, para athletes and skaters who participated in the 2026 Tampico Accra Inter-City Marathon held last Saturday in Accra.
According to him the Race which started and ended at the Trust Sports Emporium was tough but ended well.
“It was successful and we are all excited. We want to thank God for a wonderful event” he said.
He hailed the winners who are from the security services and called for improvement of roads and regular maintenance to all toad users.
He expressed that the attendance was good as their expectations were exceeded.
He noted that Tampico is still irresistible and the Tampico Day has come to stay and association with the sponsors.
“Every second Saturday of October is the Tampico Day and we are going to draw a plan to expand and organise a great marathon” he said.
He stressed that the prize money could be increased and other attractive events would be added to make the day grander.
