Sammy Ofosuhene asserts that the Ghana Boxing Interim Management Committee is overstepping its authority.

The Ghana Boxing Interim Management Committee appears to be facing challenges in its management and planning. The postponement of the election date on two occasions raises concerns regarding its preparedness and strategic foresight.
Furthermore, the introduction of a mandatory Fitness-For-Role (FFR) evaluation for candidates seeking top positions such as President, 1st Vice President, and 2nd Vice President seems to be inconsistent with the existing provisions of the GBA constitution. It is unclear where this requirement is stipulated within the constitution, especially when it is asserted that it is being applied as such.
Additionally, there has yet to be a new election date set, despite the fact that the elections were originally scheduled for the 4th. This situation raises questions about the underlying motives and the potential bias towards a particular candidate, which does not go unnoticed by those involved in the boxing community.
The Interim Boxing Management must be brought to order. They have made several decisions that exceed their mandate and do not align with the constitution they profess to uphold.
My name is Samuel Ofosuhene, and I have a passion for the sport of boxing. This is my initial communication to the organization, urging them to take the appropriate steps and set a date for the elections promptly, in order to avoid any potential legal actions.
