WBC cares Africa Chapter educates boxing community about ‘philanthropy’
The Ghana Philanthropy Forum has Successfully held the 2021 edition of Kids in philanthropy event in collaboration with Wisdom Boxing Gym and the WBC Cares Africa Chapter.
Boxers at the event learnt that WBC is a boxing organization. It is also a organization that cares about healing the world through acts of kindness and love.
The event was held on the 20th of December 2021 at Wisdom
Boxing Gym in Accra.
The event featured 13 junior boxers who present ideas on how they can make their communities better in their small way.
The theme of the event was “
We too can make a difference”
The event is scheduled to be replicated in boxing clubs across the country to educate boxers about the WBC CARES as well as encourage philanthropy by boxing champions.
The event attracted key personalities in the community including the Former President of Ghana Boxing Federation ( Mr. George Lamptey) and the Award winning International Boxing coaching icon( Coach OFORI Asare).
Participants were presented with prizes after the event.
