In a letter signed by it’s President, Asamoah Gyan, who doubles as the Manager and Promoter of Game Boy, the agreement between both parties has been terminated.

Boxing Ghana’s managing Chief Editor Sammy Ofosuhene currently based in the United States secured an exclusive interview with world astute boxing guru who doubles as the manager of Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe, quizzed him on the recent purported breakup with promotional syndicate Baby Jet Promotions bankrolled by former BlackStars captain Asamoah Gyan.

Enjoy the short revealing dialogue;

Que: Hello Peter, kindly confirm to us (Boxing Ghana) the authenticity of this letter….

“The above named promotional and managerial outfit acting per its president Asamoah Gyan wishes to inform you, the Ghana Boxing Authority and all stakeholders that the existing promoter-manager/boxer between the pair is terminated with immediate effect,” parts of the letter said.

“The agreement which was supposed to run from October 2018 to November 2021, has been terminated and we wish to inform you that we have released you to continue your professional boxing career anywhere of your choice.”

Ans: Good afternoon…Yes, It’s true.

Que: Was the seperation mutual ?

Ans: The separation was something mutual between Emmanuel and Babyjet Promotions.

Que: Are you still the manager of Emmanuel Tagoe?

Ans:  Yes, I am still the manager for Emmanuel Tagoe. We spoke as recently as today. He will be coming back to the USA to Florida to training camp in March for a big fight in May (2021).

Que: Finally, what is next for Tagoe?

Ans: Emmanuel is in excellent spirits and I communicated as recently as today with the President of the WBO Francisco Valcarcel regarding his current world rating and the opportunity for a world title eliminator, but we also have other options.

Having confirmed by Peter Kahn, this makes Peter the sole manager of Emmanuel Tagoe and promoted by Lou Dibella. We wish Emmanuel Tagoe the best of luck with his team.
