No promises from Loma as Haney promises a dominant victory this weekend in Vegas

The undisputed lightweight championship is set for this weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA with the reigning undefeated and undisputed light champion Devin Haney ready to put his titles on the line against former unified light champion Vasiliy Lomachenko.

Ahead of the Top Rank promoted event dubbed Blood, Sweat and Tears, the two pugilists expressed themselves concerning the fight after their grand arrivals in Vegas for the promotion of the fight.

The champion, Devin Haney (29-0, 15KOs) revealed how excited he is ahead of the much anticipated bout calling it a dream come true.

“This is all a dream come true. I thank God for this every day. I watched fighters make their grand arrivals when I was a young kid. This is all a blessing, and I’m excited for Saturday night.”

The San Francisco born fighter promised boxing fans a dominant victory come fight night

“I’m going to put on a dominant victory. I’m going to go in there and impose my will on Loma and show the world how great Devin Haney really is, how versatile, how strong, how young, and how experienced I am in that ring.”

The Ukrainian southpaw, Vasiliy “Matrix” Lomachenko (17-2, 11KOs), who’s last title fight ended in defeat against Teofimo Lopez is yearning to become an undisputed champion.

“It will be very, very interesting. We have two different styles.”

“I believe that when you say something, you need to prove it. I have a lot of experience in boxing, and anything can happen during a fight.”

With Loma not promising anything ahead of the clash this weekend, he revealed what he normally does during a crucial fight like this

“I just think about what I need to do during a fight. And my goal is to become the undisputed champion of the world.” He expressed.

Devin Haney has been clear on what boxing fans should expect from him, whiles Vasiliy Lomachenko like always, has left it open for the decision to be determined in the square ring on the night.

Boxingdom awaits to see what the boxing “gods” will say on fight night. Will it be “And Still” or “And the New”?
