Terence Crawford to defend his WBO title against Shawn Porter

Terence “Bud” Crawford is set to defend his WBO World Welterweight title for the 5th time against Shawn ‘Showtime’ Porter (31-3-1, 17KOs) after claiming it from Jeff Horn back in June 2018.

Having won the title from Horn via a round 9 TKO, all his four successful defense were by way of TKO making it a tough challenge for the Showtime Porter who has lost thrice, despite never being knocked out.

With many boxing fans eager to see the former undisputed Junior Welter champion Crawford face the unified Welter champion (WBC & IBF) Errol Spence Jr., they must wait a little while as the former two-time welter champion Shawn Porter grabs an enviable opportunity to win it for the 3rd time.

With many being disappointed of not seeing Crawford vs Spence yet, they can take a positive note from this clash slated for November 20th; with Shawn Porter losing his IBF and WBC Welterweight title to Errol Spence via split decision from the Staples Centre in September 2019, all should watch how Terence Crawford will be able to deal with a former champion who travelled full length with Spence in the square ring.

With all odds against Shawn Porter, it will still be a difficult puzzle for the southpaw champion to crack come November 20th from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
