Samuel “Ring Warrior” Takyi has expressed gratitude to boxing fans who voted him as The Most Promising Boxer of The Year 2022.
The Boxing Award which was the first edition by Boxing Ghana gave its fans to vote for Outstanding individuals and bodies in the 2022 calendar year. Category 5 (Most Promising Boxer of The Year) was very tight between Samuel Takyi (29.3%) and Akai Nettey (28.1%). Other contestants were John Quaye (24%), Charles Yaw Tetteh (13.1%) and Ahorgah (6.5%).

Takyi who was scheduled to fight few days ago apologized for the postponement of the fight
“I also want to apologize for my fight which was supposed to happen on 30th December, 2022 but was later postponed. I want them all to know that it will be coming on this 6th March, 2023 and it’s going to be fire as they know.”
He continued edging his fans to expect more from him this year
“This year is going to be fire so they should watch out for me. Am going to make the Country proud again.” concluded the Ring Warrior.
