Exciting and hard punching featherweight boxer Loren Japhet is set for his maiden championship engagement when he faces tough Beninois boxer- puncher Imorou Hanri Tadja Wali at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday night.

Nicknamed “The Prophet” , Loren now campaigns out of Ghana and is managed by ace promoter and GBA Executive Member Mr. John Manfo. Japhet’s first visit to Ghana was in 2019 when he fought Wasiru Mohammed for the WBO Global Title. Despite losing via a TKO in round eleven, he put up such a spirited effort that he caught the eyes of boxing fans and officials alike.

His game has definitely seen massive improvement under Coach Laatekwei Lartey as he relishes standing in the center of the ring in hot exchanges; any boxer who can’t stand that has no business being in the ring with “The Prophet”.

And come fight night, Tadja, his opponent better come prepared.
