British Ghanaian 2016 Olympic bronze medalist Joshua Buatsi secured a possible title date with undefeated champion Dmitry Bivol after beating Dan Azeez unanimously at Wembley’s OVO Arena in London.

The score card read 116-110, 117-109, and 117-109 in favor of Buatsi (18-0, 13 KOs), who scored two knockdowns in the eleventh round but was unable to find the finish, a fact that his opponent Dan Azeez protested.

But for round number nine, it is safe to say that Buatsi dominated almost all the remaining rounds with some good combinations, accuracy, and timing coupled with a commanding ring generalship.

By this all-important victory, the Ghana born pugilist has now set himself up for a possible title fight with the champion, Bivol, is set to fight Beterbiev.
