Independence Eve Boxing set for tomorrow; Gorsh vs Tagoe, Ticket info and more

Box Office Sports Promotions in collaboration with the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council is ready to thrill boxing fans on the eve of Ghana’s 66th Independence Day celebrations, 5th March from the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Stadium, Tema New Town, Tema, Ghana.

The boxing event is set to witness the battle for the Ghana National Super Bantamweight title (vacant) between the undefeated Daniel Selasie Gorsh (4-0, 4KOs) and the 6th ranked Michael Tagoe (3-4-1, 1KO) scheduled for 12 rounds.

24 years old Samuel Segbedzi who is undefeated after 6 professional career bouts with 5 knockouts to his credit will be clashing with the much experienced 32 years old Victus Kemavor (12-6, 9KOs), at stake will be the vacant National Welterweight title.

On the night, other fights set to take place will be former Black Bomber Shakul Samed who will be having his pro career debut versus Boateng Agyemang Prempeh (2-5, 2KOs) in a 6 rounds Super Middleweight contest. There will also be a 6 rounds super lightweight contest between 27years old Nii Ashitey Larbie (3-0, 2KOs) versus a yet to be announced opponent.

The Independence Day Boxing event, promoted by Alex Ntiamoah Boakye’s Box Office Promotions in association with the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council is opened to all at absolutely no cost, free to the public.
