Prince Oko Nartey (P.O.N Boxing) after been slated for a bout today against his American opponent, promising to showcase yet another masterclass in the ring, the Ghanaian sensation will have to wait for his turn following the unfortunate circumstance leading to his opponent been unable to show up.

Prince Oko Nartey exclaimed, “I have been working so hard and training for this fight but you can never tell what happened in the next hours. We are in some times where planning is made around a global pandemic which still hovers around our heads.

“I know USA is still fighting COVID-19 just as Ghana and their measures might include many not listed.

Manny Pacquiao had a fight with Errol Spence which could not materialize due to reasons beyond control, also I accept whatever it is although I was so very ready for the night.

I am a bit disappointed I am not going to fight tonight, my opponent didn’t show up due to some reasons, but am good. When one door is closed another door is opened I believe.”

With other bouts on the bill for the night, Alfred Lamptey and Iddi Kayumba take the centre stage for the WBO/WBC Yuth Silver Super Featherweight titles.

In his ending submission, Prince said, “thank you guys so much for the love and support, I really appreciate.”

His confidence and determination remains intact as Prince Oko Nartey was still spotted training knowing he still needs to keep fit and seasoned for any future event.
