It was all joy for Team Wahab last night as Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab knocked out Tanzanian Muksini Swalehe to win the WBO Africa Super Featherweight title staged in Lagos, Nigeria.
This extends Wahab’s unbeaten record to 21 wins with 14 knockouts setting the records straight as a top contender for a world title.
In an appreciation message to his fans and team, the African champion via facebook said
“Alihamduliah” Allah never fails, I thank almighty Allah for giving me another victory by round 5 TKO victory becoming the new WBO Africa super featherweight champion, Special thanks to everyone who made this possible, my coaches, Charles Quartey , Saleh Haidar Oluwaremilekun Aboderin NBBC, my Team, my management and everyone who has contributed to my career for making me a champion again, God richly bless you all am so grateful and i will never take this for granted, I say a Big thank you to all my lovely fans, family, friends and everyone who didn’t know me in person but appreciate my hard work on social media, I appreciate your love and support your prayers keep me going.
