Ghana’s Habib Ahmed be arriving in Ghana on Tuesday evening after failing to win Ghana’s eighth World title last Saturday the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, in the United States of America.
Ahmed stormed USA with the aim of snatching Gilberto Ramirez’s WBO World super middleweight belt from him but he failed to achieve that feat.
The Ghanaian was stopped in round six after the referee came to his rescue.
Through out the fight, Ahmed had his best moment in round 2 as he landed some cleans shots.
The James Town native in the subsequent rounds couldn’t match Ramirez power.
The fight was Ahmed’s first pro fight outside the shores of Ghana.
