The three amateur boxers in the Ghana National Boxing team after qualifying for the upcoming Olympics Games in Tokyo, Japan have made headlines all over the country as boxing lovers remain hopeful they can bring laurels to the country.

 

As they continued to train and maintain fitness, the Black Bombers capatained by Sulemana Tetteh have been resolute in ensuring their team remains in high spirit while preparing for the tournament.

With many individuals and corporate bodies visiting the training camp of the Bombers with presents amongst others, it was evident that many have been following their progress.

 

The Hon. Minister for Youth and Sports visited the training camp of the Bombers and gifted them USD$1,000 after which he made couple of promises which remains on the watch of the Bombers.

Emmanuel ‘Gameboy’ Tagoe who has been noted for his eventful display in the ring as a boxer and champion after his long stay in the United States of America in preparation of his next bout paid a visit to the Bombers at the Bukom Boxing Arena today Monday, June 28, 2021 to add his support to their preparation.

 

It was a joyful scene as the Bombers express gratitude for his time and presence. Gameboy watched the team go through their normal routine after which he gave them tips on how to go about their business while in the Olympic games.

 

The teams headed by the national coach, Dr. Ofori Asare used the opportunity to thank Emmanuel Tagoe for his time as well as used the opportunity to invite other greats to emulate same.
