With a short notice of just five days, Ghana’s Ebenezer Tetteh (26-3, 20 KOs), is set to go up against UK’s Lawrence Okolie (22-1, 16 KOs).

Okolie was scheduled to fight in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 19. However, the event has been rescheduled for December 21 and will be held at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos.

Veteran heavyweight Ebenezer Tetteh will attempt to cause an upset despite being a heavy underdog in the fight. Having lost his last two fights, Tetteh will look to prove himself with a victory over Okolie.

However, Lawrence Okolie will be under some pressure to defeat his opponent decisively.

Provided everything goes according to plan in his next fight, Okolie is expected to face either the newly crowned champion Fabio Wardley or Commonwealth champion Moses Itauma in 2026.

Also on the card, super middleweight Elvis ‘Solider’ Ahorgah (15-4, 13 KOs) will seek out a win against Harley Benn (9-2, 1 KO) to close out the year.

In the prelims, Ghana’s heavy-hitting Sandra Boateng (5-0, 5 KOs) faces Nigeria’s Nene Ojo (3-0) in a lightweight contest.
