After the colourful opening of the Tokyo Olympic games, many countries have already started recording laurels for their countries.

With the Ghanaian contingent yet to contest in any event, it is evident from the camp of their eagerness to get the work done and move to the next round.

Ghana’s General Captain and Captain of the Black Bombers Sulemanu Tetteh who happens to be a two time Olympian will set the ball rolling for team Ghana in the flyweight division.

All eyes will be on the skipper as he paves the way for his comrades at the Olympic games. Sulemanu Tetteh will mount the ring on Monday, 26th of July 2021 to battle it out against Marte de la Rosa Rodrigo of Dominican Republic.

This is going to be a step closer to the medal zone as the preliminaries of the Ghanaian boxing team was skipped after the three boxers drew bye.

Knowing the team have had time to read enough and prepare for the games, Ghana now looks to the promises the boxers have made as well as wish them all the best in the Olympics.
