Italian national A. Piavanni, who is the President of WKAFL will be the founding President of the “WABA ITALY”, a New boxing franchise that will roll out championship tournaments for boxers in all levels of the sport of boxing.
The move will massively transform the sport of boxing and open avenues for boxers to vie for WABA Italian titles, Mediterranean Titles, European Titles, International Titles, Intercontinental Titles, Global Titles and Supreme World Title respectively.
The joint communique of the WABA and the WKAFL indicates that there will be many title activities from the foundational level to senior levels whereas boxers would have abundance of opportunities to advance their boxing careers.
WABA joins a few boxing organizations that have already established national Franchises like the IBF with its IBF-China and WBC with its WBC South Africa.
The President of WABA, Hon Col Onesmo Alfred McBride Ngowi has reiterated his desire to grow boxing and develop boxing skills by paving progressive pathways for boxers.
