Theophilus Allotey aka ‘Theo Lopez’ is the current best thing to happen to Ghana Boxing.
He is the highest ranked Ghanaian boxer in 2026, among the world boxing bodies and he holds multiple belts.
His best and most confident weight is Super Flyweight, but he can do better at Bantamweight.
Theo Allotey has led the Boxinghana Pound for Pound Ratings for some time. Since he ascended the leadership, he has maintained the position for several months.
Now his target is the world title and according to coach Dr. Ofori Asare, they are ready to face any of the world champions in the weight category.
Theo Allotey is no doubt the Face of Ghana Boxing after his splendid performance at the Bukom Boxing Arena fighting against Argentine David Facundo Garcia.
Allotey was just a delight to watch with accurate jabs, perfect hooks, devastating upper cuts and marvelous straight punches.

With a record of 15-0-0 is is now in pole position to challenge for the world title.
The current WBA world super flyweight (junior bantamweight) champion currently is David Jiménez, better known as “Medallita”and a date with Allotey will not be bad later in the year.
Kenshiro Teraji is the current WBO world super-flyweight champion, having won the title on July 20, 2026. He will also be a good opponent .
The WBC is vacant and Jesse Rodriguez (USA) and Willibaldo Garcia (Mexico) have been sanctioned to fight. Allotey is ranked 18 at the WBC but his recent victory will push him up. There are so many contenders who must be beaten to reach the top and hold the title.
Allotey says he is ready so watch out for the man from Ghana.
