Bastie ‘The Beast’ Samir ready to go with $50,000 on the table against Abu ‘Tilapia’ Kamoko

Former Ghanaian sparring mate of World Boxing Legend Floyd Mayweather, Bastie Samir says he is not afraid to fight Abubakar Kamoko son of Braimah Kamoko aka “Bukom Banku” (30-1).

Bastie says he is ever ready if any promoter puts down $50,000.

“I am hungry and coming like a wounded lion”

He told journalists last Saturday at Timber Market last Saturday when he came to support the Obra Sports show dubbed Osagyefo Fight Night that he is ready to beat Abu Kamoko aka Ambitious Tilapia like he did to his father.

“Tell him, I will beat him like how I beat his father and he has never boxed again in Ghana” he said.

Samir noted that the fight must come with a $50,000 contract before he steps into the ring, because it is boxing.

“We don’t just fight” he stressed.

Bastie Samir, 37 who last fought in 2025 and knocked out Bukom Banku in 2017 at the Bukom Boxing Arena has a record of 22-2-1, while Abu Kamoko is undefeated in seven professional fights.

Bastie, who won silver in the welterweight division at the 2007 All-Africa Games. He qualified for the Olympics 2008 in the light-heavyweight division. He trains at the Wisdom Boxing Gym under Coach Dr. Ofori Asare.
