Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe supports Sempe Homowo Health Walk
Aspiring Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) President, Mr. Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe has advised Ghanaians to embrace healthy living lifestyle and practice fitness by exercising regularly.
After joining the 2026 Sempe Homowo Health Walk: A Celebration of Health, Unity, and Tradition, he commended the traditional authority for creating a fruitful relationship with the citizens.
The Sempe Traditional Area annual Sempe Homowo Health Walk came off last Saturday, 25th July, led by Nii Adotey Otintor II, Paramount Chief of the Sempe Traditional Area who is a former boxer.
Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe led the boxing fraternity at the exciting Walk that featured Dr. Nii Adote Dzata aka Joe Mingle, former President of Ghana Kickboxing Association, former boxer Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku his son Abubakar Kamoko aka Ambitious Tilapia and others.
The special community event blends wellness, cultural pride, and togetherness as part of the Homowo festival celebrations.
Participants gathered at the Sempe Mantse Palace which was the starting point and proceeded through some selected principal streets in Accra ,embodying the spirit of love and unity, before concluding at the Sempe Traditional Council.
The route was designed to be inclusive and accessible, encouraging families, youth, elders, and residents of all ages to participate.
The event is also created to unify and ensure peace and tranquility; hence a fuse between Bukom Banku and King Jerry, a popular musician.
Ivan Bruce-Cudjoe observed that the Health Walk is more than a physical activity. It served as a powerful platform to promote healthy living, strengthen community bonds, and showcase the enduring unity that defines the Sempe stool and its Great and lovely people.
In the words of the traditional leadership, the event aims to “show the world the strong love and unity Sempe is made of.”
This Health Walk reinforces Sempe’s commitment to the physical and social well-being of its people while preserving rich cultural heritage during the Homowo season. It promises to be a memorable display of tradition, communal harmony and resilience.
