Speaking on Omashi TV yesterday, former Ghanaian boxing champion Dauda Fuseini urged officials overseeing the championship to be fair and impartial, emphasizing that integrity remains central to the growth and credibility of amateur boxing in Ghana.
Fuseini called on referees, judges, and technical officials “placed at the heart of affairs” to ensure that bouts are decided strictly on merit. He further disclosed that the newly constituted boxing board has introduced enhanced security measures at the Bukom Boxing Arena to curb misconduct and address any misbehavior by spectators, ensuring a safer and more professional environment for boxers, officials, and fans.
