Joshua Franco vs. Andrew Moloney trilogy set for August 14

Top Rank on ESPN championship boxing returns this Saturday, Aug. 14 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa with a highly anticipated grudge match, the third fight between WBA super flyweight world champion Joshua “El Profesor” Franco and Australia’s former world champion Andrew “The Monster” Moloney.

Franco retained his title in last November’s rematch via no-contest after a nearly 30-minute video replay saga, which sparked international debate and bad blood on both sides.

Promoted by Top Rank, Franco-Moloney 3, a 10-round junior welterweight co-feature between Arnold Barboza Jr. and Antonio Moran, and the professional debut of Nico Ali Walsh (grandson of Muhammad Ali) will air live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes (simulcast on ESPN+) at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. The undercard, including a 10-round crossroads bantamweight battle between Jason Moloney and Joshua Greer Jr., will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

Franco, Ali Walsh, Barboza, Greer and the Moloney Brothers will meet the media for a Zoom press conference TODAY beginning at 12:45 p.m. ET/9:45 a.m. PT.
