The new interim World Boxing Organisation Africa Super Lightweight Titlist Robert ‘the stopper’ Quaye (17-0,14KOs) is already itching for his next bout as he seeks to make 2019 his best year.

“2019 is going to be a great year for me.” Stated Robert Quaye

The Ghanaian who was just a class apart in this bout against Tanzanian pugilist Vincent Mbilinyi is already calling out Marios Matamba (9-0,7KOs), the current World Boxing Organisation Africa Super Lightweight Champion.

For the Jamestown native, this is his time to shine.

“The time God has prepared for me to climb to the top of my boxing career is now.” Said the self styled ‘Stopper’.

Robert Quaye is eyeing the regular Champion from Congo Marios Matamba for the opportunity to dethrone him and walk away with his strap that he recently won in December.

“2019 is going to be the biggest and best year of my life” Said Quaye, Hence his decision to control the African title and prepare himself for a shot at the world title.
