Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye of Box Office Sports Promotions has curved a niche for himself in Ghana Boxing, for some he is a knight in shining armour for the boxing fraternity and others, a gnarled veteran of the fight game, a man who has seen it all when it comes to pugilism business in the motherland.

Talk of blockbuster promotional bouts in Ghana and you can’t minced words with the young man Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye. You can mention Bukom Banku versus Ayittey Powers, Michael Ansah against Sheriff Quaye, Bukom Banku versus Bastie Samir, George Ashie versus Emmanuel Tagoe just to name but a few.

On one hand, he has organized some of the largest purses in the history of the sport and has creatively promoted boxers and bouts much to the delight and surprised of many for such a young man.

Probellum – A Global Media and Boxing Company which has already established co-promotional agreements with some of the biggest promoters across the world is currently in business with Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye’s Box Office Sports in Ghana.

The Kwahu native , is about to organized another one of his novelty career bouts between Robert Quaye and George Ashie and Boxing Ghana caught up with this gem of a promoter and quizzed him on his motivation

“To give the fans the best out of Ghana Boxing whiles paving way for the winner be rated among the top 15 for his world championship campaign.” He said.

“Any of the boxers winning would have the courage to beat the world, losing in this fight wouldn’t take a respect from the loser.” He expressed.

Come 6th of March, 2022 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra-Ghana, two of Ghana’s most celebrated lightweight boxers will clash for the chance to win the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Continental Africa Junior Welterweight title dubbed ‘Rumble to Freedom.’
