The Ghana National Boxing team, the Black Bombers after their exploits in Ghana and qualifying for the Olympic games has drawn so much attention to the team both at home and abroad.
On the teams arrival at Japan, it has been cozy and almost a fun filled journey as the team together with the GBA PRO continue to train and get acquainted to the environment.
H.E Mr. Okyere upon hearing the arrival of the Ghana Team wasted no time at all as he met the team at their training camp in Inawashiro, this was one happy moment for the boxers and management team. Knowing H.E. Mr Okyere to be very busy and defying all odds in this COVID-19 period to visit the team, it was very instrumental and a morale booster to the team.
His visit was not only to see the team arrived safe but also to welcome them to Japan, to make them feel at home and also encourage them to go out there during the games and make mother Ghana and themselves proud.
Mr. Sammy Heywood Okine who was present at the meeting stood in for the team and thanked H.E. Mr. Okyere for his time and showing love to the team and promised on behalf of the team to continue training with a determined head and focused mind to leave another historic legacy at the Ghana Embassy in Japan before coming home.
