Silver Black Promotions is set to entertain boxing fans across the length and breadth of Ghana with a blockbuster boxing event from the Lord Commey’s Wembley Park, Shukura, Accra dubbed “Adinkrahene” on the 19th of August, 2023.
The “Adinkrahene” boxing event is set to be headlined with a 12 round Super Lightweight bout between Ghana’s super lightweight champion Faisal “Poncho Power” Abubakari and the pride of Ghana Prisons Service Emmanuel Arde Aryee aka “Junior Wonder”.
At stake would be the Ghana National Super lightweight title being currently held by the crowd puller Faisal Abubakari (14-0, 12KOs) who is yet to taste a defeat in his pro career.
“Poncho Power” Abubakar commands an impressive 85.7% knockout ratio after 14 fights which makes him a real threat to any opponent. He has held the National Super lightweight strap since April 2022, defeating all five opponents who challenged for it.
The “Junior Wonder” Ardey Aryee (3-0, 3KOs) must be at his best to stand a chance of winning the National title come fight night on August 19. Despite being undefeated, Emmanuel Aryee has not faced a tougher opponent in Faisal Abubakari.
The boxing event dubbed “Adinkrahene” will feature other exciting bouts on the cards which will be communicated very soon to the general public.
