Ace Power Promotions Thrill Boxing fans In An Action Packed Event Dubbed ‘The Rise’

At 7:58pm, Ace Power Promotions opened its fight night with amateur youth and juvenile exhibitions giving young boxers a chance to exhibit their skills.

The fight night dubbed “THE RISE” was headlined by Holy Dorgbetor versus George Krampah. However, the bout between Martei Laryea vs Kouassi Klaklevi was the draw as scores of boxing fans rushed unto the turf to get their seats when this bout began.

The thrilling fight involved a number of give and take infighting while Klaklevi drove Laryea with his chameleonic fighting style switching between southpaw and orthodox boxing stance. The closely contested bout was scored in favour of the Beninoise.

The gated event attracted a number of boxing personalities, including Hon. Rabbon Dodoo, Bennie Evans Johnson, and a number of attendees from the diaspora and foreign missions.

The exciting fight night was full of thrills as as number of matchups ended in a knockout. Fans were excited about the development as they applauded fighters.

6 rounds of Super Featherweight contest

Eric Asante Vrs Isaac Odartey Lamptey

The fight was rounded up with a majority draw.

Welterweight contest of 6 rounds between Rocky Otu and Isaac Commey ended in a round 2 knockout when Commey’s punch sent him to the canvas.

A super bantamweight contest, which was supposed to last 8 rounds between Samuel Martei Laryea and Kouassi Klaklevi

The Beninoise Klaklevi won the bout by a unanimous decision.

Boxing fans went home impressed with the organization, and it is fair to say the goals of the syndicate were met as boxing certainly came close to real boxing fans last night.

Boxing fans were disappointed for the cancellation of a number of bouts, including the much anticipated exhibition bout between Perpetual Okaijah and Sarah Apew.
