President of the Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) Alhaji Dauda Fuseni has tipped new IBF Featherweight Champion John Abaja Laryea for greatness if he remains positive about his ambitions and improves upon his techniques in the gym and general attitude in life.
According to the GBF and African Boxing Zone 2 President discipline is the most required mark for any sports man then the physical and mental abilities.
As a founding member of the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union as well as executive of the Bronx Boxing Gym where Laryea trains under Coach Carl Lokko, he loves the progress and he is very sure that Laryea will lead the Bronx recovery and strategic planning orchestrated by manager Sammy Anim Addo to achieve the goal of producing a world champion.
Fuseni said Bronx Boxing Club boxers are built on discipline and durability. He believes Laryea will make Ghana proud very soon after two or three fights.
John Laryea is undefeated in 16 fights with one draw. He has not gone down before until Holy Dorgbetor dropped him at Legon. where he came back fiercely to win his last bout. The fight was adjudged the fight of the fight as both Holy Dorgbetor and John Laryea were explosive.
According to Laryea. his management decides everything so he just trains and waits for the next opponent.
Coach Carl Lokko is also optimistic and prays for another good international experience.
