The rematch between Macbones and Worldwide is expected to be highly viewed.

Following their first fight last December, Seth Gyimah (11-1, 10 KOs), also known as Freezy

Macbones, has challenged Jonathan Worldwide (11-0, 10 KOs) to a rematch in Kumasi.

Tetteh secured a unanimous victory against Macbones at Accra’s Legon Sports Stadium last year.

The contest generated a lot of discussion among fans before and after its conclusion.

As a native of Kumasi, Freezy’s entrance to the fight was accompanied by traditional dancers

and music. His fight robe was also adorned with Adinkra symbols showcasing his Ashanti

heritage.

The fight did not go Freezy’s way as ‘Worldwide’ Tetteh did a great job of avoiding his power

punches and pressure, to win on the judges’ scorecards..

After the fight, the rivalry lasted for weeks, with both fighters issuing callouts for a rematch on

social media.

However, the opponents now appear to be friendly, as they were seen sharing laughs at the press conference for their upcoming fight at the Labone beach resort.

Tetteh will compete against Abdul Aziz Quartey (23-6-1, 23 KOs) for the national light

heavyweight title, and Macbones will go up against Jamiu Animashaun (11-4, 8 KOs) in an

eight-round light heavyweight contest.

A Macbones-Worldwide rematch would be one of the most watched fights in the country, giving

Freezy the chance to redeem his only loss till date.
