Meanwhile, the candidates contesting for the GBA Elections have on Tuesday May 19, 2026 presented their documents to the IMC.

The Congress and Elections have been fixed for June 4 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to Gideon Oyiadzo aka Jingles, Coordinator of the IMC, they have done a great deal of work towards the Elections and putting Ghana Boxing on a safer footing before handing over.

He noted that they have created a website and compiled a database of all professional boxers in Ghana and engaging stakeholders and the media.

He was positive that the Elections would be smooth and at the end of everything Ghana Boxing is going to win.
