Poised to continue in the footsteps of their skipper, Samuel ‘Ring Warrior’ Takyi and Shakul ‘Sharpshooter’ Samed hit the gym with more determination and pace.

In their bid to emulate what Sulemanu Tetteh accomplished in his round of 32 stage at the Tokyo Olympics to qualify for the round of 16, The ‘Ring Warrior’ and ‘Sharpshooter’ have promised they will deliver and make Ghanaians proud.

Their continued training from Ghana through to Japan has been impressive and commended by both the Chef de Mission, the National Sports Authority Director, the Ghana Olympic Committee President and their Coach

Samuel ‘Ring Warrior’ Takyi of the Ghana Black Bombers team will be battling out his qualification to the next round of the tournament against Caicedo Pachito Jean Carlos from Ecuador in which another cracker of a fight will be following the dynamism of both fighters.

Shakul ‘Sharpshooter’ Samed on the other hand will be facing Malkan Bayram from Turkey in the ‘Light Heavyweight’ contest and promises to dominate the fight from the startup. The promise of the Black Bombers to Ghanaians kicked off as Captain Sulemanu Tetteh opened the Ghanaian account with a win and the other boxers and contingent have promised to deliver the laurels they promised.

With support flying in from both angels, it is understood the team is in the right frame of mind with good conditioning to make Ghana proud.
