Patrick Allotey to leave Ghana on Sept. 7th, for a title shot against Jaime Manguia on Sept. 14.

Ivan Bruce Cudjoe, Chief Executive Officer of Cabic Promotions and Management, in an interview on Patrick Allotey versus Jaime Manguia, has indicated 7 September as the departure date for team Allotey to the USA.

“We plan to leave Ghana on the 7th , though the bout is on the 14th of September. And that goes to emphasize our resolve to come away with the title. Patrick Allotey is battle ready for Jaime Manguia, we have everything ready for this fight.” He told Accra based television UTV.

The owner of travel and tour firm, Travel Matters, took time to explain their chances going into the world title duel.

“Like soldiers, We have always been prepared waiting for the opportunity and we are glad it came at this time. Jaime Manguia is the champ but we have something installed for him.” He said.

He took the opportunity to rally national support for his boxer who has the opportunity to write his name in the history books of former Ghanaian boxing greats.

“Patrick Allotey (40-3, 30 KO) is not just fighting for himself and Cabic Promotions but Ghana as a whole, hence we are entreating Ghanaians to pray for his victory come fight night.” Bruce Cudjoe, CEO Cabic Promotions and Management pleaded.

Ghana’s self styled ‘Sweet Arrow’ Allotey, currently the World Boxing Organisation Africa Super Welter champion ranked  the WBO number 12 in the world ratings squares off with Mexican Jaime Munguia (33-0, 26 KO) on September 14, at Dignity Health Sports Park , Carson, California, USA to mark the celebration of Mexican Independence Day Weekend.
