Manyo Plange leaps to the 8th position on the current WBA ranking for January 2020.

Ghana’s number one contender on the rise, Jesse Manyo Plange has punched his way into the 8th position on the latest rankings by the World Boxing Association Ranking for January – 2020.

According to the latest ranking released by WBA, the undefeated bantamweight prospect is currently the number 8th best in the world, and possibly according to our sources, soon in line for a world title shot.

Undoubtedly, the former skipper of the Black Bombers is one of Ghana’s hottest prospects when it comes to pure power punching and skillset, indeed, there’s no doubt, Jesse is one of the very best in the division.

The current champion of the WBA bantamweight division is Naoya Inoue. On the log, the number 1 contender for the division is Venezuelan Liborio Solis, followed by Guillermo Rigondeaux of Cuba. Jason Moloney, the current Oceania champion from Australia occupies the third position, Reymart Gaballo is at number four from the Philipines, whiles Juan Carlos Payano, Raushee Warren, Mike Plania follows in that respective order.

Then at the 8th position is Ghana’s very own Jesse Manyo Plange, Tasana Salapat is 9th,  Leosdon Nunez is 10th with Jose Velasquez 11th, Joshua Franco of the USA who also happens to be the substantive International titlist is 12th on the log.

Karoon Jarupianlerd, Jun Zhao and Thomas Essomba is 14th and 15th respectively.

Manyo is the current West African Boxing Union champion as well as the Professional Boxing Council Commonwealth titlist.
