Bronze medalist at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Joshua Buatsi, is set for his next fight against Polish boxer Pawel Stepien.

The May 6th bout is scheduled to take place at the Genting Arena, Birmingham, in the United Kingdom on the 6th of May 2023 as confirmed on his twitter page.

The Ghana born British light heavyweight pugilist just signed a co-promotional deal with BOXXER with his fights set to be screened exclusively on SKY SPORTS. The multi-year agreement will kick in on May 6th against his current nemesis Pawel Stepien.

Joshua Buatsi (16-0, 13 KOs) outworked the big punching Craig Richards (17-3-1, 10 KOs) to win a 12-round unanimous decision in his last outing.

The stage is set for a path to a world title opportunity for the Ghana native who first made his professional debut on 1 July 2017.
