I HAD NO OPTION THAN TO TAKE TAKYI ON A WALK, SAMMY HEYWOOD OKINE REVEALS

Ghana reps at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Sulemanu Tetteh and Shakul Samed Bastir after losing in the Flyweight and light heavyweight division respectively all looked up to the 21yr old Samuel ‘Ring Warrior’ Takyi to redeem the image of Ghana.

With all that pressure on his shoulders, he needed time to reflect and psych his mind before his bout against Avila Ceiber of Colombia.

“I could see the tension in his eyes as his voice tattered. He was ready but he needed to get some of the pressure off his shoulders. I believed he could box but he could at the same time get into trouble trying to impress too much to make up for his other teammates.” said Sammy Heywood Okine.

He continued, “I know he can win a medal and he is in a good position to do that looking at his creativity and how quick he adopts to the opponents style.”

Ghana is going to win a medal and we will support our last standing warrior to the very top as he is still making waves and training extra hard to achieve the ultimate goal, GOLD.
