Ghana’s Internationally acclaimed Amateur Boxer preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Gastonic Hyde and his Father Pastonic Hyde have been invited by the astute British and Irish Boxing Authority to undertake an exhibition fight on the undercard of a World Championship Boxing Contest between George McIlroy and Iddi Mkwera on the 21st September 2019 at the Queens Hall, United kingdom.

The invitation was granted at the request of World renowned Professional Boxing Referee Roger Barnor, and the talented boxer is set to be arriving in the United Kingdom on the 19th September, 2019 and depart on the 24th September, 2019 as he is already booked at the plush Holiday Inn Express Hotel at Derby Pride Park, in the United Kingdom.

The 14 year old boxing sensation, Gastonic, in June, 2018 undertook a two week intensive training camp with World renowned British Professional Boxing Coach Johnny Eames at the TKO Boxing Gym to prepare for qualifying contests to represent Ghana at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

Gastonic Hyde aka ‘Jesus’ (Ghana) is tipped as one of Ghana’s hottest prospects and this invitation comes at an opportune time the gifted boxer to further horn his skillset in the noble art of self-defence as he tries to stake a claim in the star studded National Squad for the upcoming Games in Tokyo.

This is not the first time such invitation is being extended to this exciting talent.

In 2018, Pastonic Hyde was invited by Gabriel S. Dortch, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Alabama based Prichard Boxing Academy as well but due to schooling commitments, was unable to honour the invitation.

Most people recall how Gastonic Hyde made quick work of the very tall Nigerian boxer Adeyemo Aasheed at the third BIGIZIE FIGHT NIGHT dubbed, Ghana Versus Nigeria.

The Ghanaian has been pencilled by  connoisseurs of the sport to go far in his boxing career.

Boxing Ghana will keep readers posted on the teenage sensation and his exhibition bout in the UK later in the month.
