Full List of the Black Bombers To Begin Non- Residential Training

The Ghana National Boxing Team the Black Bombers have begun non residential training.

Boxers and coaches report daily to the Accra Sports Stadium, where they train inside the Haramani Hall.

The team trains from Monday to Friday at 6am- 9am. Boxers are expected to join their various clubs for evening training.

The 30 Man Squad were selected from the best performers and winners from the just ended National Individual Championship.

Coach Ofori Asare, informed BoxinGhana.com that

“Boxers will be taken through various forms of training to improve their techniques as well. They will also be educated on theoretical aspects of the sport, that is boxing competition rules as they prepare for the commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022.”

“Three boxers from other regions qualified to the team, Bawa Sheriff from the Upper East, David Amen from Volta and Philip Quansah from Eastern. The rest are boxers from various Clubs in the Greater Accra Region.

Two Females have been named in the team; Ornella Sathoud and Faruza Osman.”
