Emmanuel Tagoe alias”Game boy” ready to become Ghana’s next World Champ

WBO Global, IBF International and WBO Africa Champion Emmanuel Tagoe is set to embark on his career journey to the citadel of modern boxing the United States of America and his first stop is South Florida where he will join the Centano’s Sweatbox Boxing Gym according to his co-manager Peter Kahn.

“His first stop will be South Florida where will join the training camp at Centeno’s Sweatbox Boxing Gym.”

The witty Ghanaian fighter is gradually inching closer to a shot at the world strap and is currently rated 2nd on the WBO’s latest rankings after losing his number one spot to a certain Teofimo Lopez who is billed to fight his native Jamestownian on Dec 14, Richard Commey.

The former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) lightweight champion who fights in a spit elements of the legendary Floyd Mayweather with his touch and go styled is a typical boxer with superb jabbing ability, is a man on a mission to win another world title for his career and country as he prepares to emplane to the states after his scheduled plan got delayed by visa issues.

Ghana’s Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe, last made his ring cameo on the undercard of Freddy Kiwitt’s history making bout after the ‘Pretty Boy’ became the first to win both African (ABU) and European (WBO) welterweight titles.

Tagoe registered a round 6 TKO over Ishmael Aryeetey on the night of Saturday 20, July 2019 at the Old Kingsway Building, Ussher-Town, Accra, Ghana.

BabyJet Promotions poster boy, Tagoe, has set his sights on winning his next world title and has on many occasions called out the Ukrainian boxer Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-weight division champion and the current pound for pound king according to ‘the powers that be’ for a showdown.

Tagoe’s journey to the States is a step in the right direction in his unrelenting quest for a another world strap.
