Bastie Samir seeks to make a big come back after being inactive since April 2021. The only Stopper to Braimah Kamoko’s cleansheet is set to shake off ring rust on 18th June, 2022 on Ace Power Promotions bill.

The unbeaten light heavyweight prospect, Bastie Samir (19-0-1, 18KOs) will be fighting a yet to be announced opponent in a 10 round light-heavy contest at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.

Despite being off the ring for more than a year, the 2008 olympian is still very dangerous to any light heavy pugilist out there with his superb knockout ratio of 90%.

Bastie has knocked out every opponent he’s faced except Lester Gonzalez which ended in a draw after the 6 mandatory rounds in a Super middleweight contest.

Despite his amazing pro records, it’s sad to note that Bastie is yet to get a title shot, whether regional or continental.

The silver medalist in the 2007 All-Africa Games will look forward to earn a title shot as he aims for a world title and must therefore make another announcement come June 18.

He has challenged himself to surprise Ghanaians in a short time to secure a world title shot and has said it’s his time for him to take on the world.
